Jerome "aka Jerry or Jake" Massago

Jerome (Jerry/Jake) Massago, age 70, passed away on November 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 31, 1953 to Jerome and Ellen (McCullough) Massago. Jake was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Albany, NY.

He was in HVAC sales most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting all types of sports cards.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Massago, whom he married February 14, 1976. His sons Eric (Priscilla) Massago, Cory Massago and Randy (Colleen) Massago. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Hailey Massago, Toby Waite, Logan Massago, Isabelle Massago, Daymian Massago, Ashlee Massago, Juliana Massago, Ariah Massago, Adrienne Hurlock, Ian Hurlock and Jasmine Massago. He is also survived by his sisters Brenda (Louie) Murnighan, Brynette (David) Mathis, his sister-in-law, Nancy (Mike) Weaver and lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Jake is predeceased by his mother, Ellen Massago, his father, Jerome Massago, his brother, Thomas Crowley and sister-in-law, Linda Askew.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Ave, Colonie, NY 12205. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 27, 2024 after the holidays.
