Jennifer E. (McCarthy) Deschaine

Jennifer E. (McCarthy) Deschaine passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2025, at home in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Born September 21st, 1969, in Malden, Massachusetts, Jennifer was a cherished daughter of the late James Patrick McCarthy and Priscilla (Guild) McCarthy of Melrose, Massachusetts. She attended Melrose High School, graduating and attending Salem State College then moving to Arizona and attending University of Pheonix. There she met lifelong friends and her future husband. She began her family in Arizona, until relocating to New York in 2012. Most recently she became a phlebotomist at Saratoga Hospital.

Left to cherish her memory are her soulmate and husband, David Deschaine, son Patrick Deschaine, and daughter Jessica Deschaine. Her brother Brian McCarthy of Peabody, Massachusetts, daughter by marriage Nicole Deschaine and her longtime best friend Trinidad Gullett of Pheonix, Arizona. Her animals Rocky, and Danny along with many nieces and nephews.

Jennifer is proceeded in death by her parents James and Priscilla McCarthy. Sisters, Robin Ray and Brenda McCarthy, and her animal best friends Jake, and Stitch.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY.

Jennifer was our beloved wife, sister, mother, and best friend. Her strength and love will live forever within us.
