Jean Huber Obituary

Jean Lee Huber, age 96, went into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 1, 1926 in East Orange, New Jersey, she grew up in Queens where her parents, Anthony and Adelaide Peters resided before moving to upstate NY.

She attended Pace University in Manhattan. She married Carleton Huber on August 9, 1946 who predeceased her in 1989. Jean was a member of Bethesda Episcopal Church. She was also an avid gardener and landscaper.

She was employed for many years by Dr. Burton F. Coons, Scotia, NY.

She is survived by her three daughters, Denise Bloomer of Saratoga Springs, Andrea Krueger (Eric) of Aiken, SC, and Kimberly Peyser (Rob) of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Christian VanDeinse, Naomi VanDeinse, Tonya VanDeinse (Ashley Trama) and great-grandson, Drelyn VanDeinse Diaz.

At Jean’s request, there will be no calling hours or service. A celebration of Jean’s life will be announced in the coming months.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean’s memory to a favorite charity of your choice.
