Jason D. Ellnor

Jason Ellnor, age 49, passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at Saratoga Hospital.

He was born on January 21, 1973 in Medina, NY, the son of Dennis Ellnor and Janet A. Gibson Ellnor.

Jason graduated from Barker High School in 1991.  He achieved his bachelor's degree  in 1995 with a degree in Engineering and Management, and Masters degree in Business Administration in 1996 from Clarkson University.

Jason was an integrated solution development leader for a game changing solution called Enterprise Monitoring as a Service at Philips Healthcare in Cambridge, MA.  In his role, he led the product management managers to create, design, develop, and release new offers to the market in the area of Hospital Patient Monitoring.

Jason enjoyed all things outdoors.  He loved kayaking and taking his family on vacations to many US National Parks.  He was an Assistant Scoutmaster for his son and daughter's Scouts BSA Troop 4024 in Wilton NY joining them on many camping and hiking trips.  He was also an athlete who competed in triathlon, full and half-marathons.  He was a Life Loyal member of his college fraternity Sigma Chi and found great joy competing in multiple Ragnar running relay races with the camaraderie of his friends and fraternity brothers.  He was also a big fan of local Celtic Rock band Maggie's Clan.

Jason is survived by his loving wife, Robin Ellnor; son, Jackson Ellnor; daughter, Lauren Ellnor; parents, Dennis and Janet Ellnor, sister, Jennifer Harris (Bill); parents-in-law, Richard and Carol Green; brothers-in-law, Dr. Jamie Green (Jess), Mike Green (Kathy Durivage); sister-in-law, Elizabeth Green (Rosario); aunt, Janice Laskey; uncle, Robert Gibson (Cheryl); nieces and nephews, John Green, Caroline Green, Isabel Green, Anna Green, Genevieve Harris, Evangeline Harris and many friends and relatives who will miss his smile and selfless good nature.

A funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY with Pastor, Jeffrey Stratton officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 pm – 6 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
