Jarod Michael Green

Jarod Michael Green, age 32, tragically passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Born on June 25, 1993, in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the beloved son of William Carden Jr. and Nichole Green Carden

Jarod was employed by the Saratoga County Department of Public Works in the maintenance division and also worked on the county’s Tree Crew. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends. During his high school years, he was passionate about football and wrestling. Jarod was affectionately known as “Clark Kent” by many for his uncanny resemblance to the superhero persona. His greatest happiness came from time spent with those he loved.

He is survived by his parents, William Cardon Jr. and Nichole Green Carden; sisters, Julian Carden, Veronica Garcia, Isabelle Carden, and Emma Carden; uncle, Steve Green Jr. (Dana); grandparents, William Carden Sr., Steve Green Sr. (Louann); great-grandfather, Ralph Green; cousin, Traiton Green; and his loyal dog, RoRa and many dear friends who will deeply miss him.

Jarod was predeceased by his grandmother, Annette Carden; great-grandmother, Jane Green; great-grandparents, and Frank and Lydia Covell.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Harness officiating.
