Jami Jones

Jami Jones, age 54, passed away peacefully on Friday February 6, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on July 9, 1971, in Glens falls, New York, the beloved daughter of James Warrington and Diane Tucker.

Jami had a kind heart, gentle nature and genuine care for those she loved.

She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially crafting and cooking for her family and friends.

Jami was especially known for her Christmas cookies, a tradition with her bestie and family that brought warmth, joy and lasting memories to all who shared them.

Her thoughtfulness, creativity and loving spirit were evident in everything she did.

Jami’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved children; her daughters, Tabetha Jones, Brittney Desormeau, Hope Rivers; her son Jacob Julius. She is also survived by her brother SG Johnson; her sister Suzanne Tucker (Dale); her “Bestie” Betsy Merrifield (Carl); her partner Leonard Luce and many cherished family and friends whose lives she touched by her kindness and love.

In addition to her husband John Jones, Jami was predeceased by her mother Diane Tucker, and her brother, Todd Schaff.

In keeping with Jami’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or formal service at this time.
