Jacquelyn Carey

Jacquelyn Carey, age 56, passed away peacefully on July 15 at Collar City Rehab Center.

Born on January 17 in Troy, NY, to John and Lynda Carey, Jackie graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1986. She dedicated 37 years to nursing, showing a heart of caring and compassion for her patients, and concluded her career at The Pines in Glens Falls.

Jackie had a passion for plastic canvas crafts, enjoyed bonfires with loved ones, and cherished her annual trips to Salem, MA, to take in the fall colors. She adored her family, her dog Bob, and her favorite holiday, Halloween. Jackie was also a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.

Jackie is survived by her sister Cindy Isherwood; brother John (Danielle) Carey; nieces Victoria Isherwood and Bailey Carey; nephew Tyler Carey; as well as aunts and many cousins.

She was preceded by her parents John and Lynda Carey.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9), Saratoga Springs, NY.  Calling hours will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, the corner of Weibel Road and Louden Road, Saratoga Springs, NY.
