Jacqueline R. Bruce

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jacqueline R. Bruce at the age of 49 on Monday, September 25, 2023. She departed from this world in the loving embrace of her home in Greenwich, surrounded by her cherished family.

Born in Troy, NY on October 19, 1973, Jacqueline was the proud daughter of Irene Henley Pietro and the late Richard Forest. Growing up, Jacqueline held a deep fondness for Cape Cod Beach, a sentiment that remained with her throughout her life. Jacqueline’s true passion, however, lay in the joys of motherhood and her unwavering dedication to her family.

In her professional life, Jacqueline was a dedicated secretary at the Saratoga Springs School District, making a lasting impact with her genuine kindness and meticulous work ethic.

Jacqueline leaves behind a legacy of love, remembered dearly by her mother, Irene Pietro (Michael); sons, Jett and Elijah Bruce; brothers, Jason Forest (Kristin) of Burnt Hills, NY and Matthew Forest of Troy, NY; sister, Michelle Albin of California. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Carter, Hannah, Anthony Forest, and Chase Albin, and by countless friends who were fortunate to know her gracious spirit.

She joins in the afterlife her father, Richard Forest and stepmother, Patricia Forest.

A funeral service in her honor will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.  Friends and family may pay their respects during the calling hours set from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 16 County Route 52
Greenwich, NY 12834 following the service. 

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Hospice and the CR Wood Cancer Unit at Glens Falls Hospital.
