Jacob Schultz

Jacob Schultz, 35, passed away at his home on September 30, 2024.

Born on June 17, 1989, in Syracuse, NY, Jacob was the son of John J. Schultz Jr. and Paula A. (Heyn) Schultz. He was Paula’s office assistant and wore many hats at Showcase Homes of Malta. He had a passion for fishing, extreme sports, and expressing his creativity as a talented artist.

He also had deep compassion for the homeless population. On hot summer days he would buy water and hand it out. He would give them his last dollar in his pocket if they needed it.

Jacob is survived by his loving parents, John J. and Paula A. Schultz; his sister, Kristen Burke (Andrew); his nephew; Riley Schultz; his niece, Klaire Burke; and aunts Cathy Schultz, Carla Ramirez, Donna Carranti (David); and cousins; Allison Sulock, Matthew Sulock, Lauren (Josh) Flores, Micah Ramirez, Nico Ramirez and Celina Carranti; and his longtime girlfriend, Sophia Biancalli and their beloved cats, Ragnar and DeSoto.

We would like to express our gratitude to his friends, especially his longest and best friend Steven Hopkins, for standing strong with him during the turbulent times in his life.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Compassionate Funeral Care, located at 402 Maple Ave (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service.
