Isabell Lorraine Woodcock Obituary

Isabell Lorraine Woodcock, 92, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026.

Isabell was the beloved wife of Allyn Woodcock, with whom she shared 50 plus years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on family and raised four wonderful children: Allyn Woodcock Jr., Terry Woodcock, Kenneth Woodcock, and Laurie Brady.

A devoted caregiver throughout her life, Isabell dedicated herself to caring for others. She was the proud owner and operator of the Schuyler Guest Home, where she provided compassionate care and a welcoming home for many elderly residents over the years. Her kindness, patience, and nurturing spirit touched countless lives and reflected her lifelong commitment to helping others.

Her and Allyn’s home served as the heart of a large and growing family, hosting countless family gatherings, celebrations, weddings, holidays, and reunions throughout the years. Isabell took great pride in her family and treasured the time spent together creating memories that will live on for generations.

Isabella is survived by her son,
Terry Woodcock and his wife Laura of Cambridge, NY.
She was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Allyn, Anthony, Stephanie, Susan, Megan, John, Meghan, Kendra, Victoria, Samantha, and James.

She was also blessed with nineteen great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous joy and pride.

A strong Italian woman from a family of thirteen children, Isabell was known for her determination, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She took great pride in her heritage and cherished the close bonds she shared with her large family.

Isabell endured tremendous loss throughout her life. She was predeceased by all twelve of her siblings, including her beloved sister and best friend, Shirley Griffin; her husband, Allyn Woodcock; her sons, Allyn Woodcock Jr. and Kenneth Woodcock; her daughter, Laurie Brady; and her grandson, John Oliver. The grief of losing so many of those she loved weighed heavily on her heart and contributed to her decline in recent years. Despite these hardships, she remained devoted to her family and found joy in the generations that surrounded her.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with those she loved and missed so dearly.
