Ida Mahan

Ida Mahan, age 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 20, 2021 at the North East Center for Rehab & Brain Surgery.

She was born on July 25, 1957 in Troy, NY daughter of the late Alfred and Ida Belanger.

After Ida had graduated high school, she had gone on to be an Office Clerk for the State of New York where she had worked for many years prior to retiring.

Ida enjoyed fishing with her family, and loved having her cats around, but most of all she loved spending time with her two grandchildren, Zoe and Damien.

Ida is survived by her daughter, Crystal Mahan; brothers, David (Peggy) Belanger, and Joseph Belanger; sister, Mary Belanger; many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Mahan.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday January 27, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Waterford, NY. Calling hours will be held from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
