Ian Michael Delaney, age 30, passed away on Sunday, July 4th at home.
He was born on May 28, 1991 in Saratoga Springs, New York to Jeanna Burdick and Lawrence Delaney.
Ian graduated from Saratoga Springs High School, 2009 WSWHE BOCES Automotive Technology Program, 2009.
Ian worked at multiple Honda dealers in the capital region as a technician, both during and after high school. After moving to Florida, Ian eventually pursued a lifelong dream and opened his own repair shop, The Honda Doc.
Ian enjoyed working on cars, racing cars, baseball, bowling, and spending time with his family.
Ian is survived by his wife, Tiffany; sons Cooper and Cole; mother, Jeanna Burdick (Dean); father, Lawrence Delaney (Robin); maternal grandmother, Carolyn Boulet; brother, Jerod Delaney (Courtney, Blake and Dawson); step-brother, Gary Older; step-sister, Niki Older; many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved greatly.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Cole, and paternal grandparents, Lawrence Sr. and Arlene Delaney.
Calling hours will be held from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 6:00PM - 8:00PM on Thursday, July 15 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave (Rt. 9/Marion Ave), Saratoga Springs, New York.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 16 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave (Rt. 9/Marion Ave), Saratoga Springs, New York.
A graveside service will follow the service at Gansevoort Cemetery, 4960 NY-50, Gansevoort, NY 12831.
