Howard "Bud" P. Armbruster, Jr.

Howard P. “Bud” Armbruster, Jr., age 75, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at his home with his family at his side.

He was born on September 27, 1944 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Howard P. Armbruster, Sr. and Eleanor Glennon Armbruster.

Bud was an Animal Control Officer in Plymouth, CT for many years prior to retiring. In his past time, he was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and just gallivanting wherever his feet would take him. Bud also enjoyed a good drive which led him to many travels.  What he cherished most was his family time with his children and grandchildren.  He will be remembered for his many stories that he gained through his many adventures.

Howard is survived by his sons, Matthew Armbruster (Holley) of Corinth, NY, Brian Armbruster (Lorry) of Hawley, PA; sisters, Chrissy Poulton (Carl) of Ocala, FL, Alice Benoit (Kenny) of Spring Hill, FL, Susie Freimuth (Kevin) of Terryville, CT; grandchildren, Austyn, Kegyn, Kurstyn, Darrick and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his sister Joan Pirog.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. Family and friends may call from 1- 3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
