Harriet Elvita Pierce, 83 of Saratoga springs, New York entered eternal rest on November 25, 2024. Harriet was born on May 15,1941 in Harlem, NY to Clinton Pierce and Emily Seager. She was the 1st born to Emily Seagar out of 2 children. She was married to Ray Anthony Daniels.
Harriet spent her childhood years being educated in Harlem, NY. Spending her vacations in Saratoga Springs visiting her grandmother. After graduating from Saratoga High School, she became an LPN and bartended at the Golden Grill for many years. She worked on the Nursing Staff at Coxsackie Correctional Facility and Medical Correctional Officer at Saratoga Correctional Facility.
Harriet loved the neighborhood children and would bring them to her home to ride the horses and take them sleigh riding to have fun in the snow. She was a leather artist and designed leather clothing.
Harriet is survived by her two sons Ray and Kent Daniels, granddaughter Babette Kieseia Daniels, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Harriet is predeceased by her parents Clinton Pierce, Emily Seagar and brother Clinton Derrick Pierce.
Harriet will be sadly missed by family, friends and all that knew her.
A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Compassionate Funeral Care, located at 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. Family and friends are welcome to gather and pay their respects at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., preceding the service.
