Habiba Ibrahim

Habiba Ibrahim, age 23, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Born on July 11, 2001, in Saratoga Springs, NY, Habiba was the beloved daughter of Stanley Ibrahim and the late Benita Durr.

Habiba worked as an aide at the Home of The Good Shepherd, where her caring and compassionate nature left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She had a remarkable talent for makeovers, bringing joy to anyone who welcomed her creative touch. Habiba was also a passionate artist who expressed herself through bead crafting, painting, and drawing. Her free spirit and love for life and people were truly infectious, and she brightened the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her father, Stanley Ibrahim (Stepmom Ann); her brothers, Hassan Ibrahim and Eddie Lorman; her sisters, Marie Ibrahim and Zanasia Wicks; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever cherish her gracious and loving spirit.

Habiba was predeceased by her mother, Benita Durr; her grandparents, Rose and Robert Durr; and her aunt, Rosa Durr.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.

A graveside service will take place at Greenridge Cemetery, 17 Green Ridge Pl, Saratoga Springs, NY, immediately following the funeral.
