Eugenia Krason

Eugenia Krason, 75, passed away peacefully at her home in Newport News, VA, on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Born on June 29, 1949, in Obojna, Poland, Eugenia was the beloved daughter of the late Czeslaw Trela and Bronislawa Warchol Trela.

Eugenia worked for many years as a meat packer at ACME Smoked Fish, where she was known for her hard work and dedication. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, cherishing every moment and memory with them.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Krason and his wife, Annamarie Krason; daughter, Renata Maldonado; her son-in-law, Gilbert Maldonado; eight cherished grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a circle of friends who will deeply miss her kind and gracious spirit.

Eugenia was predeceased by her loving husband, Jan Krason, with whom she shared a devoted and loving partnership.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave (Route 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Clement’s Church, 231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Following the service, she will be laid to rest during a graveside ceremony at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 150 West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
