Estelle Jensen, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 23, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to John Willis and Helen Singer Willis, Estelle embraced life with creativity, warmth, and a generous heart.
Estelle was passionate about cooking and baking, often filling her home with the comforting aromas of her creations. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, photography, and crafting intricate stained-glass pieces. She also took great pride in her work with Class Act II, where her decorating and crafting talents shone brightly. Estelle was renowned for her passion for world travel, exploring numerous destinations across the globe.
Estelle is survived by her devoted husband, Jerome Jensen; her daughters, Ann Clarke (William), Karen Ramos (Jenaro), and Joan Wolfinger; her stepchildren, Erik Jensen and Robyn Jensen; her brother-in-law, Donald Jensen (Edna); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Farina (Autumn), Joseph Farina (Shaya), Michael Farina, John Farina, Miranda Whelley, Cassandra Quay (Dustin), Alex Ramos and many great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents and her beloved sister, Anita Sue Willis.
A memorial service to celebrate Estelle’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs, New York. Calling hours will take place prior to the service, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
