Ernest Suttle, III

Ernest Suttle III, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Born on November 21, 1961, in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the son of the late Ernest Suttle, Jr. and Florence Kitchner Suttle.

For many years, Ernest worked as a taxi driver in the Saratoga Springs area, where he enjoyed meeting new people and forming lasting connections. He was an avid fisherman who found peace and joy on the water. Ernest also loved watching car racing and going for drives, but above all, his greatest happiness came from time spent with his family.

He is survived by his devoted companion, Sally Millington; his children, Ernest Suttle IV, Anthony Suttle and Johnathon Suttle; his cherished grandchildren, Anthony Suttle, Jr. and Braden Suttle; his sisters, Melody Suttle, Helen Persons and Cathy LaMontain (Robert); along with many friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary Jane Hibert, Virginia Hibert, Florence Richmond and brother-in-law, Brad Persons.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

A celebration of Ernest’s life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Crandall Park, Glens Falls, NY from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
