Elaine Diehl

Elaine Diehl, age 76, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

She was born on March 25, 1945, in Cooperstown, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph Fiacchi and Betty Nestle Fiacchi.

Elaine enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband Ronald and spending time with her family. Elaine was also an avid bowler and member of the Saratoga and Greenfield Senior Centers. Elaine had a faith in God like no other. She was always willing to share this love with all those around her.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Judith Ryan (William); sons, Donald Humphrey, Paul Humphrey (Annette); sister, Debra Hudak (Matthew); grandchildren, Matthew Humphrey, Devin Humphrey, LeAnn Humphrey; many cousins and her best friend Helen Calbet.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald and parents, Joseph and Betty Fiacchi.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY. Family and friends may call from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

A private graveside service will be held by the family at Fort Plain Cemetery, 38 Clyde St, Fort Plain, NY 13339 at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elaine can be made to the Gateway House of Peace, 479 Rowland St, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
