Dora McCormick

Dora McCormick, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the Wesley Health Center. 

She was born on June 9, 1949, in Saratoga Springs, NY the daughter of the late Reginald Ross and Cora (Hammond) Ross.

Dora graduated from Saratoga Springs High School.  Following graduation Dora continued her education earning her nursing degree. 

She was a receptionist at Skidmore College for many years prior to working at Saratoga Hospital in the Radiology Department. 

Dora enjoyed the company of her grandchildren more than anything.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially when it was time to make her special occasion cakes.

She is survived by her sons, Aaron, Keith (Marylou), Scott; grandchildren, Maria, Alicia, Caitlyn, Timothy, Andrew, Austin and many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her gracious smile.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew McCormick; sister, Norma Lee and brother, Earl.

Family and friend may call from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.

A celebration of life following the calling hours will be held at Glad Rag Saloon, 29 Holmes Rd, Porter Corners, NY 12859.
