David Scaccia

David Scaccia, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at his home.

Born on October 18, 1939, in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late John and Enes (Biagoni) Scaccia who were born in Bassiano, Italy. 

David was a credit manager for Tire Centers Incorporated, where he worked for over 30 years, and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed golfing, cooking, and traveling, and had a special appreciation for Italian cuisine. He was a dedicated fan of the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees. A true automotive enthusiast, David had a passion for stock cars and attending car shows. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

David is survived by his loving companion, Mary Fien; his sons, Robert Scaccia and Christopher Scaccia (Dawn Dagostino); his daughter, Christi DiNinni (Lucio); his brother, Dante Scaccia; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Sophia, Luca, Olivia, and Michael; his niece, Victoria Peltier; his nephew, Ronald Scaccia; as well as many extended family members in Italy.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carol (Lanoue) Scaccia; his son, John Scaccia; his brother, John Scaccia; and his sister, Florence Scaccia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at St. Clement’s Church, 231 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY.
