David J. LaMontain, Jr.

David J. LaMontain Jr., age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2021 at his residence in Florida with his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Jane (Allen) by his side.

He was born on February 3, 1934 in Hempstead, Long Island, son of the late David LaMontain, Sr., and Ruth Sweezy.

David worked in numerous industries but had found his place working for the Saratoga Springs City School District, as a bus driver, for many years prior to retiring.

David enjoyed making people laugh with his jokes and quick wit.  He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved to go fishing and hunting. He was a legend in his day and was always the life of the party.

David is survived by his wife Mary Jane, sons Leo (Diane), David, Robert (Cathy), daughters Domenica, Lisa Muller (George), sisters Jeanette Colen, Theresa Ruff, brothers Michael and Thomas and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his children Joseph LaMontain and Rosina Moore, his grandson David, his sisters Ruth, Helen, Bertha, Patricia, and his parents.

Dave lived a full life and will be missed by all.
