Daniel Schwank

Daniel Schwank, 45, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on September 10, 1980, in Saratoga Springs, New York, Daniel was the son of Dana and Sharon (Garant) Schwank.

Daniel dedicated 18 years of service to Tractor Supply, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others. He had a lifelong appreciation for old-fashioned radios and enjoyed classic movies and television shows. A gifted IT specialist, Daniel had a remarkable ability to fix just about anything, and family and friends often relied on his knowledge and generous spirit.

His faith was an important part of his life. Daniel was a devoted member of his church, where he faithfully served as the custodian and found great joy in caring for his church family and community.

Daniel is survived by his loving mother, Sharon Schwank.

He was predeceased by his father, Dana Schwank.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs, New York 12866.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 155 Ballard Rd., Gansevoort, NY 12831.  A graveside service will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
