Daniel A. Becker, Jr. passed away at home on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the age of 44. The loss of such a vibrant and fun-spirited soul was unexpected and his family is profoundly saddened.
Daniel, known to many as Dan, was born on December 6, 1979, in Saratoga Springs, New York to his loving parents, Daniel A. Becker and Nancy E. Trapp Becker. He grew up as a spirited and rambunctious young man in Ballston Spa, New York where he developed many life-long friendships.
As an adult, Dan resided in Tampa, Florida and dedicated his career to serving as an electrician at H&D Electric and Maintenance Service in Largo, Florida. His skills and dedication were admired by all who worked alongside him.
Beyond his professional life, Dan was a passionate supporter of the Minnesota Vikings and the NY Yankees, demonstrating unwavering loyalty to his beloved teams. He had a zest for life that found expression in his love for cooking, boating, camping and MMA, these were activities that brought him immense joy.
Dan was strong-willed and also an incredibly loyal and brave man who will be remembered most for his kindness and generosity. He touched the hearts of many with his humble spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand or bring laughter to those around him. His vast circle of friends cherished the moments they shared with him, united by the joy of his company.
He is survived by his devoted parents and his loving sister, Kerry Osborne (Brian). Dan leaves behind his cherished nephew, Andrew “AJ” Osborne, who held a special place in his heart, in addition to many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will also be deeply missed by Danyel LaFreniere, Madasyn and Ryley Martin and countless friends whose lives were enriched by his presence. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, as well as his uncles.
At this time, the family requests that there be no calling hours or formal service, allowing them to grieve privately.
