Correna Strobeck, age 59, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, at her home in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Born on February 23, 1967, in Newton, NJ, Correna was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond Strobeck and Sharon Davis.
Correna dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker, creating a home that was always filled with warmth, comfort, and open arms. She had a generous spirit and a welcoming heart, and there was always room at her table for anyone in need of a meal, a laugh, or simply companionship. She found great joy in cooking and shopping, but above all else, her greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her children. Her love for them was constant, deep, and unwavering, and it showed in everything she did.
Correna will be remembered for her kindness, her giving nature, and the way she made others feel like family. Her presence brought comfort to many, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Abe Stormes Jr. who passed away shortly after Correna, Angelo Marano (Alexandra Swan), David Wenegrat, Scott Wenegrat, and Joshua Stormes-Strobeck (Ashley Ullmann); her daughters, Leslie Stormes, Brittany Stormes, and Autumn Stormes; her brother, Raymond Strobeck; and her sisters, Debbie Wright (John) and Jennie Saporito. She also leaves behind many dear friends who will miss her greatly.
In addition to her parents, Correna was predeceased by her stepdaughter, Leslie.
A private graveside service was held at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Saratoga Springs.
