Clifford O. Gridley, Sr.

Clifford O. Gridley, Sr., age 86, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at The Hospice Inn located in St. Peter’s Hospital.

He was born on March 25, 1937 to Claude Gridley and Clara Rockwell Gridley in Albany, NY.

Clifford was a Lineman for NY Telephone Company for many years prior to retiring.  Clifford enjoyed his family camp at Sacandaga Lake for over 80 years.  Also, he enjoyed the last 20 years wintering in Florida.  His greatest joy was his time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Clifford is survived by his son, Clifford O. Gridley, Jr. (Sue); daughters, Cinda Koonz, Sarita Iuliucci (Michael), Michele Haggerty (David); nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Gridley (2020) and a granddaughter.
