Claire M. Styczynski

Claire M. Styczynski, age 84, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at her home in Saratoga Springs with her family by her side. 

She was born on November 29, 1938 in Dunnville, Canada, the daughter of the late Chester Honsinger and Leah Cohen Honsinger.

Claire was an administrator for the New York State Department of Parole in Albany for many years prior to retiring. 

Claire was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so beautiful it would light up the whole room.  She was a fun spirited soul who took on many passions. One of which included bird feeding.  She found comfort and peace through nature.  She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

Claire is survived by her son, Daniel Styczynski; daughter, Deborah Graziano (Chris); sister, Ruth Greenleaf (Stanley); grandchildren, Robert Cook (Miley), Julia Graziano (Courtney), Kelly Styczynski, Lisa Graziano, John Styczynski; 7 great-grandchildren, Mason, Dakota, Paislea, McKenzie, Logan, Landon, Sawyer; several nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her gracious heart.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Daniel Styczynski (1998), sharing over 40 fun filled years together.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Compassionate Funeral Care (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

A graveside service will be held at 10:15 am on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
