Charles "Pete" Clute, of South Glens Falls, NY, passed away while on a hunting trip at Ivory & Antlers Outfitters in Colorado. Born on July 29, 1953, in Saratoga Springs, he is the son of Charles E. Clute and Shirley E. Stockwell Clute.
Charles was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School Class of 1971.
He worked for many years at P&C Supermarket and Super Duper, Construction with Pat Devivo and as a warehouse associate at Target Distribution.
An avid outdoorsman. He was a member of Goodfellows Hunting Club in Fort Ann. He found great joy in hunting and loved spending time at camp with his good friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Trembley)Clute; his sons, Charles (Dawn)Clute, Jeremiah (Kelsea) Clute, Jeremy Mattrazzo (Aliza), Zachary Clute, Jacob Clute, his sister, Charlene Clute; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Trembley (Jackie), Jeffrey Trembley (Tonya), and Michael Trembley (Kelly). Charles also leaves behind his mom Shirley and Stepfather Walter Pratt, 8 Grandchildren, 1 niece and 4 nephews, a host of friends, his "Adoptive Boys", who will forever remember his warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit. He was one of a kind!
Charles was predeceased by his father, Charles E. Clute and nephew Tyler J Trembley
Family and friends are invited to honor Charles's life during a visitation on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Avenue (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY.
A gathering will follow from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at Principessa Elena Society 13 Oak Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
