Charles H. Perry, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 20, 1940, in Wilton, NY, Charles was the son of the late Albert E. Perry and Mary A. LaRue Perry.
Charles dedicated his life to hard work and craftsmanship, excelling as a diesel mechanic, a trade he mastered with pride, and persistence. Charles had many careers, including ABCDE logging company (owner), Truck Driver, and Equipment Operator.
Beyond his career, Charles was a man of diverse interests and talents. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family. He was always willing to help anyone who needed his experience and knowledge.
Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Rose M. Perry, and their five sons: Charles D. Perry (Kelly Mott), Brian J. Perry (Laura Aderholt), Albert E. Perry, Daniel B. Perry (Christina), and Eric M. Perry (Carly Mattison). He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Cailey Perry, Amber Aderholt, Ashleigh Dufour (Christopher), Robert Rugar III (Cassidy), Gabbryelle Perry-Rabine (Justin), Daniel B. Perry Jr., Owen Perry, Mason Perry, and Mattison Perry, as well as beloved great-grandchildren Kayden-Daniel, Alleria, Isabel, Hyde, Amelia, and Gabriel; his sisters Florence Bishop, Mary LaRoe, and Shirley Slater.
He is predeceased by his great-grandson, Asher Dufour, and his sister, Rachel.
At Charles’ request, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
