Carla Gatewood Obituary

Carla Gatewood, age 68, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Saratoga Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born on February 16, 1953, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charlie Wheeler and Helen Bettis.

Carla worked at the Home of the Good Shepard in Malta NY for many years as a RA.

Carla is survived by her son Eric Watson (Emily); grandchildren Amber Watson, Eric Watson Jr., Destiney Watson, Lucas Watson, Jacob Roum, Madison Roum, Samantha Roum; and her great grandson Valentino Smith.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Larry E. Gatewood; and daughter Amanda Watson Roum.

The family would like to thank the staff at Saratoga Hospital ICU for their care and compassion.
