Bryan E. Owens

Bryan Owens, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, unexpectedly at home. He was just 55 years old. Bryan had a heart of gold and a soul of a rock star. Bryan held many jobs during his life, but he had finally found the job he really wanted as a chef at a local nursing home.

Although he could make a mean chili, that was not his dream, he was a rock star inside and out! He played in several bands throughout his years. Many late nights he was found playing his guitar and writing songs. He shared his passion of music through karaoke nights, with his three beautiful children, Brandon, Ashley and Kirsten Owens.

He was also an avid movie buff, especially horror flicks. When he wasn’t enjoying a horror film you could find him watching long football games with his son.

This man will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. He will live on through his amazing children.

He is survived by his children, Brandon, Ashley and Kirsten Owens of Gansevoort, NY; mother, Nora Wieczynski of Matamoras, PA; father, Jack Owens and his wife, Lita of Arizona; his biggest supporter, Jennifer Ryan of Gansevoort, NY; brothers, John Wieczynski and his wife, Gina of Matamoras, PA and Walter Wieczynski and his wife Brenda of Schodack, NY; fiancé, Amanda Hill of Saratoga Springs, NY; many nephews, nieces and friends.  

A memorial service will be held from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on March 25, 2023 at VFW, 190 Excelsior Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
