Brenda Brockway

Brenda Brockway, age 62, passed away on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, at her home with her loving husband by her side.

She was born on February 17, 1959, in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Brenda was the daughter of the late Charles Pratt and Mary (Travis) Pratt.

Brenda worked in hospitality most of her career in the Saratoga Springs area for many years. She showed love, care, and hospitality for all kinds of people.

Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family.  Her greatest joy in her life were her grandchildren and bringing joy to others.  She showed love, care, and hospitality for all kinds of people.

Brenda is survived by her husband William Brockway; son Edward “Boomer” Szczepanik (Cindy); daughters Laura Greenlaw (Duane), Peggy Szczepanik (Tim); grandchildren, Makayla, Mikey, Brendan, Chelsea, Jordan, Juliana, Lia, Tristin, Jasmine, Jonny, Eddie, Walter & Lily; great grandchildren, KayCe, Macie & Cora Brea;

Brothers, Charles Pratt Jr. (Cindy), Richard Pratt (Sharon); brother-in-law Robert McCormick (Debbie); sisters-in-law Sharon Lyng (Michael), Darlene Maynard (Robert), Terry Wood (Burt), Kathy Saritoni (Conrad), and Tina Park (Dan).

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.  Family and friends may call from 11 am to 12 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
