Beth Stanley, 61, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 7, 1963, in Cohoes. NY, Beth is the daughter of the late Alexander Garceau and Brida MacGregor Garceau.
Beth followed in the family footsteps back in the 80s and became a Licensed Practical Nurse however her service became shortened due to medical illness. She then dedicated her time to raising her children, as well as spending time with her extended family. When her husband, Daniel Stanley, suffered a work injury in 1996 that left him unable to work, she returned back to the workforce, where she worked various management positions in serving the community, with the last position she held being that of Assistant Bakery Manager at Price Chopper (now Market 32), where she was able to serve the community with her love of baking. She retired from Price Chopper in 2015, at which time she spent her time continuing to serve the community by helping those whom she lived with at her Senior Housing Apartments; assisting at her church, Wilton Baptist Church, in various ways to include working in the nursery, assisting in their youth group, Owana, and facilitating various services needed throughout the church; and enjoyed spending as much time with her extended family both local and afar, as well as her granddaughters.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Stanley; daughter, Amanda Clinton; sisters Carol DeGearo (Joseph), Sandra Karlson (Dolph), Nancy Shipp; brother David Garceau (Natalie); grandchildren Kennedy Clinton and Raegen Clinton. Beth also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever remember her warm heart, sense of humor, and unconditional love.
Beth was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Stanley (2013) and brother Alexander Garceau Jr. (2017).
Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Wilton Baptist Church, located at 755 Saratoga Road (Rt. 9), Wilton, NY. A memorial service will immediately follow at the church.
Interment will take place afterward at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany, NY.
