Barbara Wheeler Obituary

Barbara Wheeler, age 75, passed away on December 19, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 28, 1945, in Chatham, NY, the daughter of the late William and Grace (Myer) Bevens.

Barbara graduated from Chatham High School where she attended BOCES for Business Management. Barbara was also a waitress at Charlies Restaurant and as a realtor for Bob Howards Reality.

She enjoyed BINGO, crafts, knitting, sewing, gardening and cardinals.

Barbara is survived by Her daughters Marylou Suttles, Charlene Wheeler and Jean (Aaron) Cleveland. Her sisters Emma (Ward) Kenyon, Jen (Bub) Fadding and Ann (Ed) Belanger. Grandchildren PJ, Adam, Dylan, Tony, Nikki. Great-Grandchildren Gracie, Taelyn, Anthony and Braeden.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, William Bevens, Frank Bevens and her sister, Charity Kern.

A private grave side service will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave, Menands, NY 12044.
