April Aldrich

April Aldrich of Greenfield Center passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024,  after a stoic, four-month battle with cancer. Formerly of Monticello, NY, where she worked with harness racehorses as a trainer/owner for over 20 years. The daughter of late Patricia (Patty) Decker and Gerald (Jerry) Decker. She was born April 8, 1973, in Port Jervis, NY. She graduated nursing school in 2014 and enjoyed her second career as an LPN until her passing.

She is survived by daughter, Ashley Banks (Larry) of Mechanicville, NY, son, Kip Banks, Jr. (Sam), son, Jordan Hoffman (Katelyn), daughter, Brianna Aldrich (Adam), and daughter, Billiejean Simonson all of Greenfield Center, NY; siblings: Lisa Cochran (Jim) of Milford, NJ, Mike McBride (Teri) of Hutchinson, MN, Lisa Weaver of Monticello, NY, and Tammy DeVaux (Jimmy) of Huguenot, NY; grandchildren: Savannah, Avianna, Dakota, Wynter, and Anthony; many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm & 4-6pm on Saturday, May 25 at Compassionate Funeral Care on 402 Maple Ave (Rt 9), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. The funeral service will be held at 6 pm with Pastor Steve Harness.
