Anthony "Tony" Mario Colangelo

Anthony “Tony” Colangelo, age 67, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Saratoga Hospital with his family at his side.

He was born on May 4, 1953 in Glens Falls, NY, the son of the late Anthony Charles Colangelo and Philomena Crimaldi Colangelo.

Tony loved talking about anything historical, from family roots, Saratoga and its hospital, across the border and sea to Italy and Canada being his favorites.  He was also a member of the Canfield Casino Historical Museum.  Tony would drive his family crazy at times with his stories, but his stories will last a lifetime in our memories.  To the public, he was a real charmer.  Everyone his sister meets that knew him would say what a giving person he was and how much they adored him and loved him.  Most importantly, family was everything to him.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 150 West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

On behalf of Tony’s family, we would like to thank Dr. Bell for his compassionate care of Tony, both professionally and personally.  A special thanks to Dr Delmonte, is staff and the staff of Saratoga Hospital who care for Tony.
