Anthony Dexter Eastwood, 81, of Saratoga Springs, passed away of natural causes Wednesday morning August 12, 2020. He was born July 5, 1939 in Corning, NY and raised in Wellsboro, PA. His parents were Dexter and Evelyn (White) Eastwood.

He graduated from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in 1961, and later earned a Masters degree in music as well as a PD degree in administration & supervision from CW Post on Long Island. An educator his entire life, Tony shared his musical talent as a Music/Choral director in the North Babylon School District from 1961-1992, later serving as a School Administrator for Babylon Village until his retirement in 1994 after which he & his family relocated to Saratoga Springs in 1999.  He was enormously proud to have earned his Silver Beaver award for his service with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 399. Additionally, he enjoyed contributing to the community as a Master Gardener and as Saratoga County 4-H Shooting Sport Instructor.

Always active, Tony was an avid golfer, hunter, and fixer of everything.  He loved entertaining, playing the piano and truly was an “influencer” of his time recognized by many as a father figure, mentor, and life example.  He will be remembered for his faith in God, kindness, compassion, generosity of time, and by his students for excellence and his encouragement for each to be extraordinary.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judith (Kritkausky) Eastwood and his children, daughter Tracy (Eastwood) Sturtevant and her husband Michael of Brisbane, Australia and son Scott Eastwood and his wife Teri of Galway, NY as well as many beloved members of the Seiver & Kritkausky families and by thousands of former students and friends.
