Andrea Koleda

Andrea Koleda passed peacefully at home on November 3, 2023 surrounded by family.

She was born on December 4, 1960 to James and Donna Christensen of Baldwinsville, NY. Andrea attended Russell Sage College (Troy, NY), during which time she met Randy Koleda, her dear husband with whom she was together for more than 40 years. Andrea was a devoted and amazing wife, mother, aunt, sister, friend, and doting grandmother. She was known amongst friends and colleagues for her kind and generous nature. Andrea enjoyed vacations, spending time with family, holiday baking, and thrifting among other interests. As an empty nester, Andrea volunteered at the local Wilton Food Pantry. Of the accomplishments in her life, she was perhaps proudest raising her two beloved daughters, Molly and Katie. She will be remembered fondly by family for her gracious holiday entertaining and witty sense of humor.

Andrea was predeceased by her brother Carl Christensen in 2017; and her father James Christensen in 2002.

She is survived by her husband Randy Koleda; her daughters Molly Koleda and fiancé Joe Parrino of Pittsford, NY and Katherine Koleda and partner Eric Ohle of Fairport, NY; two grandchildren Hazel Ohle and Bennett Ohle; sisters Kathleen Weinhold of Bethlehem, PA, Jeannine VanNostrand of Alexandria, VA, and Elizabeth Kosmowski of Oneida, NY.; her mother Donna Christensen of Saratoga Springs, NY.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Spring 2024, all will be notified with details as they are made available.
