Alexis Davis-Gooden

Alexis Davis-Gooden, age 35, passed away on February 11, 2021 at Albany Medical Center.

She was born on October 26, 1985 in Saratoga Springs, New York daughter of Adam Davis and the late Ernestine Gooden.

Alexis worked at Ruth Childcare Services in Laurel, Maryland with her life partner Ruth Hill. She was also enrolled in college classes.  Alexis enjoyed speaking whether it was singing, rapping, preaching, and ministering; she also loved dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Alexis is survived by her life partner Ruth Hill; son, Nacif Gooden; daughter Lakaiah Gooden and Cherisse Hill; sisters, Shebrea Lair and (h) Donavan Lair, Corine Gooden; grandchildren Jaylyn and Jayceon. Uncle Ernest “Sonny” Gooden Jr. (w) Mary Gooden; Niece Talya Gooden-Ramos and (h) Dexter Ramos; Nieces Shanice Gooden and Nijiah Lair; Nephew Johnson Gooden.  Five great nieces and two great nephews. Host of cousins and loved ones and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., (Rt 9 and /or Marion Ave.) , Saratoga Springs , NY

Family and friends may call from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
