Alexandru Brumusescu

Alexandru Brumusescu age 92, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at home with his loved ones by his side.

He was born on September 4, 1930, in Tatulesti, Romania the son of the late Zaharia and Eleonora Brumusesca.

Alexandru graduated from high school, class of 1948 and continued his education attending college earning bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering.

He worked as a technician in construction and a concierge at 32BJ Union in Manhattan, NY.   

Alex loved children, he was a very giving and humble man who brought joy and laughter into the lives of others, but most of all he loved without conditions, he was full of love...for everyone, he wasn't afraid to proclaim his devotion to others. Alex also found joy in gardening, his love for animals and helping others. 

He is survived by his daughter, Carmen Radu; grandchildren, Gabriel Radu and his wife Diana, Catalin Radu and his wife Anna; and great-grandchildren, Kyla, Evan, Alexander and Olivia.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Dumitru and Ciceron.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York. Family and friends may call from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at Greenridge Cemetery, 17 Greenridge Place, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 following the service at the funeral home.
