With great sadness, Alan “Woj” Wojtkonski “The Ox” passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Al held the outcome at bay far longer than anyone expected and in doing so, we “the family” had the time to continue making the memories needed to help sustain us in the years to come.
I ask that everyone who knew and loved him to remember his boundless love for his wife, kids, grandkids, family, friends, his tremendous sense of humor and wit and love for all things Patriots. Woj was a proud marine, a hardworking man, provider and there are no words for how much he was loved and how much he will be missed.
Al leaves behind his beloved wife of 38 years, Margie; son, Mike Wojtkonski of Lakeville, MA; daughter, Nikky Wojtkonski of Hebron, NY; three grandchildren, Ryder, Walker and Alana of Hebron, NY; parents, Stan and Simonne Wojtkonski of Taunton, MA; brother, Stan Wojtkonski of New Market, MD; nephew, Mack Wojtkonski New Market, MD; and many good friends. Al is predeceased by his brother, Mark Wojtkonski.
Family and friends may call from 11:00am – 12:30pm on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple (Route 9 and/or Marion) Ave, Saratoga Springs, New York.
To honor Als final wishes he would love to have you wear your favorite Patriots / Red Sox / Bruins or Celtic gear for his calling hours or anything Red/White/Blue.
In lieu of flowers donation in memory of Al can be made to Dana Farber Cancer Center, Boston, MA. https://give.cancerresearch.org/
