Sharon Coleman

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Sharon Coleman, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 24, 1942 in Ballston Spa., NY, the daughter of the late Frank Thompson and Esther Clower Thompson. 

Sharon was a CNA for Saratoga County for many years.  She had a compassionate spirit and love for people.  Sharon loved playing cards with her dear friends.  She loved her time spent at her part time job at Wesley Health Care as well.  Her most precious and cherished love was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Nicole MacMillan (Dwight); son, Michael Coleman (Jessica); granddaughters, Karleigh MacMillan, Lucie Coleman; grandsons, Eli Coleman, Caleb MacMillan, Adam and Dylan Coleman; sister, Debbie Grady (Jim); brother, Frank Thompson; great-grandsons, Jaime and Phoenix Coleman; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Thompson and many nieces, nephews and friends whom will miss her dearly. 

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Coleman; son, Roy Daniel; sister, Mary Dimock; brother, Clifford Thompson; grandson, Jaime Coleman and nephew, James Dimock.

A funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY.  Family and Friends may call from 4 pm to 5:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
