Roslyn (Harris) Pittinger Hass was born to Benjamin and Lena Harris in Bronx, NY, on January 15, 1925.  On December 20, 2017, she joined them in Heaven. 

Roslyn, of Saratoga Springs, NY, was the matriarch of a large extended family.  Family gatherings and events were very important to her.  Going on day trips or traveling to visit relatives and friends were among her joys.  Her perfect destinations during her younger years were “winters” in Florida and “summers” in the Catskills.  Roz had a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor.   She enjoyed singing, socializing, and frequenting restaurants. She had a great love of life and people. She was a “woman on the go” who enjoyed getting out each day.  

Roz will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives.  Her immediate family includes: her daughter Benita with whom she made her home in Saratoga Springs, NY: her son Lawrence and Doreen Pittinger of New Britain, CT; as well as her grandchildren Andrea and Nicolas Garrett; Juliana Pittinger, Jason PIttinger; Frank and Kari Trippi and children Nicole and Joseph; Christine and Jeremy Cote; David Dechants and his son Dylan; Ryan and Jonah Morehouse and his son Kristopher.

She is predeceased by her first husband Joseph PIttinger, her second husband Stanley Hass; daughter Carol Trippi; and granddaughter Lenore Morehouse.

A celebration of Roz’s life will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Temple Sinai in Saratoga Springs, NY at 1:30pm.
