Robert Stanford

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Robert Stanford, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side.   

He was born on November 17, 1952 in Rotterdam, NY, the son of the late Kenneth Stanford and Loeva Peck Stanford.

Robert worked for Saratoga Bridges as a Residential Counselor for over 30 years.  He was liked by all who met him and loved by all who knew him.  Robert’s gentleness and love were an inspiration to everyone he met.  He was a devote member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2586 and a member of the Ballston Spa., Elks Lodge. 

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Patti Graves Russell who he married on September 16, 1992; daughter, Tracy Ward, brothers, Richard Stanford, James Stanford and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.  Family and friends may call from 2:30 pm to 4:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
