Robert “Bob” Hagadorn, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on September 27th, 2018.
He was born on August 27th, 1938 in Saratoga Springs, NY. The son of the late Clarence and Edith (White) Hagadorn.
Bob married the love of his life, Beverly McCormick and they spent nearly forty wonderful years together.
He worked his farm while also working at the former Westvaco Paper Mill in Mechanicville until it closed. He then spent numerous years at General Electric Silicones Plant in Waterford until he retired.
Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter, he loved to be outside. He enjoyed spending many hours working on the farm and in his garden. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
He was a Volunteer Fireman (Lieutenant) at Arvin Hart Fire Department in Stillwater for many years and was a life member.
Bob is survived by his wife Beverly, son Robert Hagadorn (Deborah), daughters; Susan Hagadorn, Lorrie Hagadorn (Darren Peck), Barbara Morelli, Tracy Piche (Mike), step sons; Henry (Sarah), Charlie (Becky) and Ron (Deb) Breeden, step daughter; Marsha Mooney (Bill), brother Keefe Hagadorn (Mary); sisters; Jeanette Marshall, Bessie Belanger (Joe), Helen Marshall and Nancy Ody; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends that loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Michael G. Morelli; brothers Charles and David; sisters, Elizabeth and Doris.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 4th from 5:00 – 6:45 pm. It will be followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York 12866.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 5th at 3 :00 pm at the Gansevoort Cemetery on Rte 50 in Gansevoort.
