Nancy Barnes

Nancy Barnes, age 74, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2018 at Livingston Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on January 17, 1944 in Camden, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Robert H. and Rubye Bell Kirkland Outen.

Nancy was a homemaker who loved spending time with family and friends, her home was always filled with love and compassion.  She especially loved watching old movies and listening to her blues music. 

Nancy is survived by her children, Bernette Diori, Howard Barnes (Stacie), Arlene Barnes, Aretha Barnes, Gene Outing; sisters, Mary Thompson, Yvonne Workman; grandchildren, Bryce Barnes, Maymunah Diori, Miriam Diori, Rena Barnes, Marquese Barnes, Shawn Barnes, one great-grandchild and many friends who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Barnes; brother, Rex and sister, Anne.

Calling hours will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York 12866
