MaryEllen Ann Belanger

MaryEllen Ann (Curley) Belanger, age 76 of Ballston Spa., NY, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. 

She was born on June 13, 1942 in Troy, NY, the daughter of the late Matthew Curley and Carolyn (Miller) Curley. 

She spent her early years growing up in Troy where she graduated from Troy High School, class of 1960.  Upon returning from the U.S. Navy, James Belanger and MaryEllen Curley were married on October 12, 1963.  MaryEllen worked in the accounting department at North Eastern Electric Motors in Glens Falls for many years.  She also worked for Orlev Foods in Latham, Borden’s in Menands, Allstate Insurance in Latham, and Bher Manning in Watervliet.  

She is survived by her beloved husband, James Belanger of 54 years; daughter, Renee Price of Saratoga Springs, NY; sons, James Jr. (Brandie) of Saylorsburg, Pa, Jason (Christine) of Troy, NY, Justin (Jennifer) of Watervliet, NY; grandchildren, Jayme Price, Steven Price, James Belanger III, Tierney Belanger, Emily Belanger, Jason Belanger, Jr., Noah Belanger, Emma Belanger, Isabell Belanger, and William Belanger.

Preceded by her parents, Matthew and Caroline Curley; and a sister, Eileen, and a grandson William Price.

Family and friend may call on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York, 12866. (518) 584-4844

Interment will be leaving from the funeral home at 9 am.  Services at 9:30 am on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
