Marion Estelle Bright Arnold

Marion Estelle Bright Arnold, age 84, of Greenfield Center, NY passed away at home peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Marion was born third of ten children to the late Julian and Fannie Stephenson Bright on October 11, 1934, in Nixonton, NC.

Marion met Richard while he was proudly serving his county in the US Army.  They were married October 30, 1954, in Elizabeth City, NC before settling in Greenfield Center, NY where they raised their four children. 

Marion loved the Lord and she will be remembered as a woman who devoted her life to her family and home.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Betty (Paul) Cameron of Greenfield Center, NY and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie (John) Layden and Barbara (Walt) Brite of Elizabeth City, NC; Doris Arnold Sheffey of Greenfield Center, NY; Betty (John) Pierce of Marbury, AL; brother, Buddy (Dawn) Bright of Milford, DE; brother-in-law,  Raymond (Barbara) Arnold of Middle Grove, NY and several nieces and nephews.  

She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Richard Arnold Sr.; son, Richard Arnold Jr.; daughters, Cynthia Bonds and Carol Cameron,  She also joins her sister, Julia Wright and brothers, Carlton Bright (MIA Korean War) and Bruce Bright.  

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2019, 11:00 am, at North Milton Cemetery, Milton, NY.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank-you for their warm care and compassion in getting Marion home from rehabilitation to live out her final days.
