Joyce Ann Ballard

Joyce Ann Ballard, 67, of Dunham Pond Road died Friday, April 27, 2018 at Capital Living Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady following a period of declining health.

Born on Sept 3, 1950 in Bronx, NY; she was the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Kruzadupsky) Dalia.

Joyce grew up in New York City and attended Miami University, prior to moving to the Saratoga Springs area.

For more than 20 years, she was employed as the manager at Saratoga Classics, retiring due to illness.

She loved animals and watching movies.  She will be remembered as a person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

She leaves two sons: Christopher Ballard of Greenfield Center and Gregory Ballard of Providence, RI and a sister JoAnne Lindhe of Homosassa, FL.

A calling hour will be held from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY.
