JoAnne (Britt) Hamilton

JoAnne (Britt) Hamilton, of Marjorie Drive, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 15, 2019. She was 67.

Born on December 14, 1952 in Hudson Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ramona E. (Stark) Britt.

JoAnne was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School and Memorial School of Nursing.  She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 40 years at Saratoga Hospital, St. Peters Hospital, and Anthem Insurance.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She loved her children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren and always included them in her adventures.  She loved travel, theatre, camping, roller coasters, and participating in scouting events.  She was a lifelong scout and provided leadership for multiple scout troops for over thirty years.  She was compassionate and selflessly gave to her friends, family, and community.

She leaves her son Daniel Hamilton, Jr. (Tiffany Terry); a daughter Melissa Hamilton; grandchildren: Jackson Terry, Isabel Hamilton, Joseph Hamilton and Aralia Love; mother Ramona Britt; brothers: Tom (Cindy) Britt and Patrick (Michelle) Britt; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her father Joseph Britt and a sister Mary Fontaine.

Friends and family are welcome at JoAnne’s home, 5 Marjorie Drive, Saratoga Springs on Saturday, December 21 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
